Tyler Cowen Sure Likes Him Some Puffins

Confirming my suspicions of being a Puffin enthusiast, Tyler Cowen just made a monster post on Marginal Revolution about any and all things Puffin.

I’ve had a few reader requests to blog¬†puffins.¬† My interest in puffins dates from a visit to Iceland in the early 1990s, where I went on a lovely mini-quest to track down a colony…

…I am interested in puffins for a few reasons: a) they appear unlikely, b) they often seem to be anticipating something, and c) nature has produced them.

No mention of the cereal though? Also, kind of makes you wonder what other blog requests he’s been getting.

No no… don’t hit play yet.

First, turn off all the lights in the room, put this on full screen, then hit play.

This is just unbelievable. I’ve watched this three times in a row now. This is just as good, if not better than, head cams worn by bike messengers on crack. Now I want to see one of these things on a dolphin or a great white.
